Jim, Does your repeater need a subaudible tone? (CTCSS). If it does, without it you won't key up your repeater as most require a tone on your transmit signal.1 -

Is there such a thing as a former Flex user? Larry easiest to check with the former owner to see whether he or she had V2 or V3 licence. If not, the radio will work with V1 Smart SDR.1 -
